NetVisn Adopted as Corporate Standard at General Motors

Harvard, MA - November 5, 2007 - Envisn announced that its NetVisn product has been approved as a corporate standard for Business Intelligence Metadata management at General Motors. Rick Ryan, Envisn's President, said "It was a lengthy process since GM has very high standards for what it expects in the way of metadata management. In fact, we added some new features to the product in order to meet their requirements, but these are things that will add value for all NetVisn users."

During this process Envisn participated in a number of reviews and evaluations of its NetVisn product. This process also required the approval of the GM IT architectural standards group. "We looked at a number of offerings in this area." Said Pamela Zeman of GM, "But only NetVisn has the functionality we needed coupled with a design that met our requirements. We expect to see this used in a number of groups across GM currently using Cognos BI."
